You did the thing, Reader!
You launched. People bought. You hit your number.
And then somewhere around hour 47 of manually adding people to your course, answering “I paid but can’t access” DMs, and triple-checking that your early bird bonus actually went to the right people…
You thought: Wait, wasn’t this supposed to feel better? That’s a sign of what I call a joy-stealer.
And there are usually three of them hiding in an otherwise successful launch:
Everything depends on you once people buy. The sales come in, but so do the mental gymnastics and stress around what has been done + what hasn’t.
- You’re troubleshooting in real time while the cart is still open vs celebrating all these new enrollees.
Bonuses become more of a burden than a selling point. You offered an early bird bonus or a fast-action incentive — great for urgency, terrible for your sanity.
- You’re messaging your VA (or worse, doing it yourself) to grant access. And the whole time, you’re second-guessing whether someone slipped through the cracks. What was supposed to boost sales is now draining your energy.
You can’t actually see what’s working. You’re refreshing and doing mental math after every payment notification.
- You have no idea which emails drove sales, whether your waitlist converted, or if that bonus actually created urgency — or just more work. You’re running on vibes when you should be running on data. And when the launch is over, you can’t do a proper debrief because you don’t have the data to make this success repeatable.
None of this means your launch failed - it means your systems haven’t caught up to your growth yet.
And that’s fixable — usually faster than you think.
On Friday’s live, I walked through all three of these and exactly what I do inside a Systems Sprint to solve them.
If you’re launching in the next 60 days, you don’t have to do it yourself or even put the stress on your VA to just “figure it out” again.
If you book a Systems Sprint, you get immediate access to your project hub to gimme insight into your biz + login info, and your setup is done in one week.
