There this mindset shift that sneaks in when we feel like we need to be more efficient or productive. I like to say my "hyper-independence is showing", when it happens lol.

Like when I'm rage cleaning and ask my husband to move something heavy, and he takes longer than I'd like him to - I turn into the damn hulk.

"Nevermind, I got it 🙄". But now I have to hide the fact that I'm wincing in pain and my back is on fire all because I just hadddd to do it myself lol.

This same hyper-independence kicks in when we're running a business. For me, it's been when I think I can create content graphics on my own, or do my own bookkeeping, or DIY a launch strategy 🫠. Could I do all those things on my own? Sure, but at what cost?? Most times it's my damn sanity lol.

I see this in my clients especially when it comes to biz systems...

They say they want to run a lean biz so they stick to the free version of a tool...even though it doesn't have any automations, it doesn't have 1/2 the features they actually need to use, and it costs them more time using than it saves.
